How this came to life.

I’m Youri Hermes, serial author and book mentor. I guide writers in bringing their books to life in a way that no longer depends on effort or control. When interference of  the “writer” softens, the book begins to unfold naturally.

This collaboration program grew naturally from the interest of people who felt drawn to this work, whether or not they’d joined a program. It’s a transparent way to share it with others and receive a share as appreciation.

If you know me, have read one of my books, or simply feel connected to my approach, you might be interested in my affiliation program.

Chances are, someone in your network is already thinking about writing a book. Maybe they’ve talked about it before or even started, but never find the time to finish. Or they’re sharing interesting posts and ideas on social media, without realizing they’re already halfway to a book.

If someone like that comes to mind, this is a simple way to give what’s already alive in them a bit of space to move. In appreciation, I’ve made it rewarding for both sides.

The person you suggest or recommend receives a 10% discount on any trajectory they choose.

A commission for you.

You receive a financial thank-you once the trajectory of your referral has been fully paid:

  • Six-week mentoring intensive (€3.500) → €500

  • Three-month mentoring program (€4.500) → €750

  • Six-month mentoring program (€5.500) → €1.000

  • Certified book coach program (€6.500) → €1.000

  • Ghostwriting trajectory (price on request) → €1.000 

These amounts apply when you make a warm referral — you reach out to the person, and they book their orientation call, mentioning your name in the form.

If you’d like me to reach out, that’s a cold referral, and the fee is half the amount.

How it works.

1. Warm referral (full fee).
Someone you’ve spoken or written with takes the next step themselves. They book their free orientation call and write your name in the form. That’s how the referral is linked to you; nothing else needed.

2. Cold referral (half fee).
You share a name or a few people you genuinely recommend, and I’ll reach out directly, mentioning you as the connection. If they start a trajectory, it counts as your referral at half the amount.

3. Confirmation and payment.
I’ll confirm once their call is booked. When they start a trajectory, they receive a 10% discount, and your referral fee is paid once all payments have been received.

The invitation call is a short 20-minute conversation to get to know each other, go over any questions you might have, and share ideas for how you could introduce or share the work.

You can start after our short invitation call.

If you’ve already worked with me, we’ll simply use the call to reconnect and align on how the collaboration works. If we haven’t met yet, it’s a chance to get to know each other, share ideas, and see how you might introduce this work to others.

This call is required before joining the referral program — it keeps the collaboration personal and fair for everyone involved.

A referral is registered once someone schedules their orientation call and writes your name in the form. That’s a warm referral — it means you’ve already been in touch with them, and they took the next step themselves. You receive the full referral fee.

If instead, you share a name or a few people you genuinely recommend, I’ll reach out directly, mentioning you as the connection. That’s a cold referral, and the fee is half of the listed amount.

Referrals only apply to new contacts — people who haven’t already been in touch or booked a call. If someone was already in conversation with me, the referral can’t be linked to your name. 

If the person you referred hasn’t started a trajectory within six months after their orientation call, the referral is no longer valid.

Anyone referred through you receives a 10% discount on any trajectory once they start.
This discount can’t be combined with other offers or promotions.

For warm referrals — when you introduce someone and they schedule their own orientation call — you receive the full referral fee:

  • Six-week mentoring (€3.500) → €500

  • Three-month mentoring (€4.500) → €750

  • Six-month mentoring (€5.500) → €1.000

  • Certified book coach program (€6.500) → €1.000

  • Ghostwriting (price on request) → €1.000

For cold referrals — when you only share a name or list and I reach out myself — you receive half of those amounts.

The referral fees and discounts may be updated at any time to keep the collaboration fair and in balance with the work. The version that applies is always the one active at the time your referral has their orientation call and decides to start a trajectory.

If this page was shared with you and you decide to join one of the programs yourself, you’ll receive 10% off your chosen trajectory. It’s a gesture of appreciation for being personally invited.

Your referral fee is paid after all payments for the trajectory have been received.

In rare cases where a trajectory is paid in installments and (temporarily) paused, your commission is processed once the client has completed their full payment.

You don’t have to send an invoice. I handle the referral fee as a business expense, so the administration is taken care of on my side. You’ll simply receive your payment directly after all payments for the trajectory have been received.

The listed referral fees are total amounts. They already include VAT if it applies — nothing is added on top.

If you have a registered business and prefer to send an invoice with your VAT number, that’s also possible. The total amount stays exactly the same. If you don’t have a business, you’ll receive the same total amount as a personal payment. It’s up to you to declare it yourself if needed in your own country’s tax system.

Yes, you can refer as many people as you like. Each referral is handled and tracked individually.

A referral means you personally share a name with me, someone you’ve spoken to or genuinely recommend. You can send several names if you feel they’re a good fit, but not full contact lists or unpersonalized data. The intention is personal connection.
