Unmarketing · Add-on to book mentoring

Your book opens doors.
Let it lead to your work.

For authors and practitioners who want their book to carry their practice: clearer offerings, the right clients, and a business that forms around what you know. While you write, or once it’s out.

Sales and beyond

Sales matter. Your practice matters more.

Part of it

Getting the book to sell

We get the ingredients right to give sales every chance. You influence a lot of it, but not all, so it’s not where we stop.

The main focus

An instrument for your offerings

The book becomes the entrance to your work. Readers turn into clients, peers into collaborators.

+

Runs alongside book mentoring. Shape the book and the business around it at the same time, so both grow from the same clarity. Or start once the book is out.

You might be tired of…Once structure emerges, you’re free to…
Scattered offerings that don’t connect.Let your offerings form one clear whole.
Packaging your work in ways that cheapen it.Let income grow in a way true to your approach.
Depending on unpredictable client flow.Let your book quietly bring the right people.
Constant posting and self-promotion.Share your expertise without chasing attention.

How it works

Six forces that attract clients.

When your expertise is articulated clearly, you don’t need to push. The structure does the work.

01

Natural mention

Readers mention you because the book gave them words for what you do.

02

Direct dialogue

The book starts conversations that lead to working together.

03

Easy discovery

A clear theme makes you easy to find for the people who need you.

04

Facilitated finding

Your offerings connect to the book, so readers know where to go next.

05

Gentle collaboration

Peers invite you in: talks, programs, joint work.

06

Fictive branding

Your book carries a name and a world people remember you by.

Questions

Is this about selling more books?

Partly. We do what we can to get the ingredients for sales right. But the main focus is using the book as an instrument for your offerings: clients, programs and collaborations.

Can I combine it with book mentoring?

Yes. Many do both at the same time, so the book and the business around it take shape together. You can also start once the book is published.

Do I need a finished book?

No. A book in progress, a published one, or a body of work that wants to become one are all good starting points.

Do I need to know about marketing?

Not at all. There’s no marketing theory, no funnels and no posting schedules. We look for the structure already in your work.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, the trajectories can be paid in full or in two instalments.

Stop pushing your work.
Let the book bring people in.
