The reason your book still isn't written? It’s NOT what you think.
A 3- to 6-month mentoring program where the writing process is entirely bypassed, and the book appears.
Practicalities
- A 3- or 6-month online book mentoring program rooted in writing without a writer
- Mentor: Youri Hermes, author of the nondual-inspired trilogy 'Forget to Remember' and of 'The Art of Unwriting'
- Support: 12 flexible sessions spread over 3 or 6 months, plus unlimited in-between support
- Investment: €3,495 (6 weeks), €4,495 (3 months) or €5,495 (6 months)
The book isn’t waiting. You are.
You’ve tried writing from the heart, thinking it through, using discipline, searching for clarity. Still, the book won’t come.
Book coaches tell you to be more disciplined, plan better, find the right technique, refine your voice. But it all simply doesn’t work.
The problem was never a lack of effort or time. It’s that you’re trying at all. The book stays blocked if you’re still in the way. When you, the writer, disappear, the book naturally moves on its own.
This Free-Your-Book mentoring program won’t be about writing more nor better. It’s a highly practical mentoring space for removing the writer entirely so that the book can finally surface.
When I gave up authorship, the books in me were set free.

No writer required.
I’m Youri Hermes and I’ve published four books. None of them emerged through effort, planning, or discipline.
They appeared when I stopped trying to write them.
Yet it’s natural to slip back into thinking you’re “the writer”, and with that comes all the familiar struggles. The Free-Your-Book program recognizes there’s no writer at all. We won’t try to improve your writing or push you through steps. Instead, it’s about stepping aside so the book can do what it’s been waiting to do.
James’s experience.
Why you haven't finished your book yet.
You might be tired of…
Once the writer steps aside, you’re free to…
Starting and stalling, over and over.
Let the writing move without trying to control it.
Carrying something important you can’t get out.
Let it take shape without forcing it to happen.
Doubting what you write before it even lands.
Let words come through without holding them back.
Thinking about the book more than writing it.
Let it form itself without chasing perfection.
Wondering if this will ever happen.
Let the book happen much faster, without pushing.

Introducing:
Free Your Book Program.
Conventional book coaching is about trying harder, finding better techniques, or fixing yourself as a writer. The Free-Your-Book program doesn’t do any of that. It removes the need for effort altogether.
It’s not about improving your writing. It’s about eliminating the struggle of trying to write at all. You’re not here to learn how to write. You’re here to step aside and let the book happen.
This program is not...
- A system that demands discipline, motivation, or willpower
- A method that forces forces structure, strategy, or planning
- A process of struggling with inspiration or self-doubt
- A course filled with theory, mindset tricks, or philosophy
- A place to overthink, tweak, and second-guess
- A way to delay writing until everything feels "figured out"
- A reason to hold back your book until you get permission
- A shortcut to publishing without depth or meaning
- A practice of forcing yourself to write from the heart
Instead, this program is...
- A way to write effortlessly, without forcing or second-guessing
- A process that removes hesitation so the book flows naturally
- A space where writing happens without the struggling writer
- A shift that clears creative blocks in real time
- A pathless path from idea to a finished, publishable book
- A method of sharing your book without waiting for approval
- A practice of creating with depth, clarity, and meaning
- A simple, immediate way to publish and move forward
- A new relationship with writing: free, natural, and inevitable
The 6 openings to free your book.

I’ve found six ways of seeing that the book is already here. Each one is an opening that frees the book from the writer who thinks they need to create it.
Each opening dissolves a different belief about what writing requires. Together, they reveal the book that was never actually hidden, just overlooked while you were distracted trying to write it. This unusual approach dissolves everything that typically holds writers back: blocks, doubts, the endless cycle of starting and stopping.
1. Existing rhythm
This opening frees the book by dissolving the belief that we need to begin writing. The book exists in the rhythm that’s already moving through us, scattered across conversations, notes, and returning thoughts. We’re catching up to what’s already in motion.
2. Living drafts
This opening frees our book by dissolving the belief that we need to finish something before acknowledging it exists. When it comes down to books, making it public is never premature. It’s how the book begins to gather around itself, find its shape, and connect with the people it’s meant to reach.
3. Found patterns
This opening frees our book by revealing that scattered isn’t broken and structure doesn’t need to be imposed. The material spread across months or years forms the texture the book writes from. Editing isn’t something we do to the book. It’s something that happens around the book, through the field of attention that surrounds it when others are present. We realize the outline was already there before we started.
5. Reverse writing
This opening frees our book by reversing the assumption about who’s doing what. When we see that the book is writing us as much as we’re writing it, the pressure to control dissolves. We stop trying to be the author and start being available to what wants to be discovered through the writing surfacing itself.
6. Absent writer
This opening frees your book by dissolving the identity that keeps you performing writership instead of writing. When we stop trying to be the author, we stop being in the way of the book that’s already here. The energy that went into maintaining the writer persona becomes available for actual writing.
7. Timely release
This opening frees our book by revealing that release happens when we stop needing to control when it’s ready. The book releases itself when it no longer needs our permission to exist. Waiting belongs to the one who hasn’t let go. The book carries the weight once we stop holding it.
What you'll receive during the mentoring:
In Between Support
Between sessions, the best ideas often surface as what we set in motion unfolds. We keep this alive by continuing to exchange ideas.
12 Flexible Sessions
For the 6-week program, we’ll meet 2 hours each week. The 3-month mentoring includes weekly 1-hour sessions, and the 6-month program has biweekly sessions.
Tracking Space
A place to see where you’re getting in the way, and where the book is already doing its own thing.
Choose your preferred attention span:
12 sessions spread across 6 weeks, 3 months, or 6 months.
Stop trying to write. Let the book happen.
This isn’t about forcing a book into existence. It’s about allowing it to unfold through practical phases I went through myself.
FAQ
What can I expect at the end of the mentoring program?
By the end of the program, you’ll have have a published book.
Written, shaped, and shared, whether as an e-book, softcover, and/or hardcover.
Published online, available worldwide. A book that exists beyond your notes and ideas. A book that people can actually find, read, and respond to.
But know that getting there requires a certain kind of surrender:
- That means giving some attention to the book everyday, even if it’s very little.
- To stop waiting for the perfect version and let the book unfold publicly.
- To resist turning it into your personal masterpiece and instead let it be what it wants to become.
- To not constantly slip into the usual writer traps, like writer’s block, perfectionism, over-ownership.
Is this program only for books about nonduality?
Not at all.
Just because my books dance in the space of nonduality doesn’t mean yours has to. This program isn’t about writing a book on nonduality, it’s about writing from a nondual place.
That means your book could be about almost anything:
A soulful approach to business
A self-help guide that doesn’t fix people
A philosophical dive into the everyday
A memoir of invisible turning points
A fresh take on healing or health
A spiritual inquiry without dogma
Or even something entirely unclassifiable
What matters is not what your book is about, but where it’s written from.
We remove the writer, so the writing can speak.
If you feel called to write from that kind of space (regardless of genre or theme) then yes, this program was designed with you in mind.
What is the role of AI in this program?
AI isn’t here to speed things up or fake a book into existence. It’s about precision and clarity. It shows you what’s blocking the book from moving, whether it’s structure, language, or your own effort.
AI acts as a tool to spot interference, not replace you or cheapen the process. It makes the writing you can’t see visible and undeniable.
Can I pay in installments?
You can pay in full or in two installments, with the first installment due before the program begins.
What is the VAT policy for EU and non-EU customers?
- EU Consumers: The price of the training is subject to an additional 21% VAT.
- EU Businesses: If you provide a valid VAT number, the reverse charge mechanism applies, meaning no VAT is charged. This mechanism shifts the responsibility of accounting for VAT to the buyer, simplifying cross-border trade within the EU and avoiding the need for the seller to register for VAT in the buyer’s country.
- Non-EU Customers: The price of the training is VAT exempt as sales to customers outside the EU are not subject to EU VAT rules.
